Tonight we did a breeding between Am./UKC Ch. Richex Shadytown Frederick TT and Mitern Superstitions. It is an excellent breeding and they compliment each other nicely. The litter would be due mid October. Inquires are welcome.

Update on Frederick
Fred is settling in just fine. WHAT A LOVABLE AND HAPPY DOG! I am soooo glad we brought him up from the US. I stripped him out this past weekend and hopefully we will have him entered in some shows this fall! It's too bad we weren't able to get him entered into the National. Oh well maybe for the next one we will have a little Fred or Fredette!

Been Awhile...
Wow it has been awhile! Here are some updates!
We had a litter of puppies in February. They were born February 20, 2010. One boy and one girl survived. Momma was Mitern's Superstitions and proud daddy was Ch. Mitern's the Phantom Piper. The boy we named Addiron's Bear Claw and the girl is Addison's Susie Q. Both have gone to hteir new homes. The boy named Rosco can be seen working along his owner Denise Crowe at the SHur Gain Feeds and Needs here in Truro.
Duncan headed back to the US in April. He sadly tested positive for PLL with an OFA DNA test. He did finish the #7 Parson in Canada last year and got invited to the Eukanuba Invitational in sunny CA. He is being neutered and living with a popular horse trainer/judge in MA.
This weekend we are proudly introducing a new boy to our house. He is Am./UKC Ch. Richex Shadytown Frederick TT, bred by Claudia Sprauge and is coming from the loving home of Shannon Johnson in CA. Frederick is a nice Black and White boy who has done some impressive winning in limited showing in the US. We hope he will finish quickly in Canada.
Our first National Specialty is coming up. Our judge for our regular classes is Sally Yancy, Greensboro, NC and our sweeps judge is Amanda Kelly, Sackville, NS. It will be held in conjunction with the Halifax Kennel Club shows on September 4, 2010.
We will also be welcoming another pup into the fold, as long as everything goes well in September. We may take a trip up to Ontario, the first time I will be in that province. Another step on our way of totally PLL clear dogs.
