Moncton Kennel Club 11/14/09 and 11/15/09

Duncan was BOB both days at the Moncton shows.  Judges were Wendy Paquette and Elaine Whitney.  Thank you ladies for the wins.  See it does pay to get up at 5 am and drive 2 hours!

Island Dog Club 10/31 to 11/01/2009

Duncan won Best of Breed both days Saturday and Sunday.  Our big brag would be at the Saturday night Atlantic Canada Puppy of the Year Awards Show.  Duncan placed GROUP 4TH!  It was a long wait and it was quite late before we left...but was it worth it?  Hell YES!!!!!!

Charlottetown This Weekend

Only 4 more sleeps until Duncan and I (Addison) leave for the Island Dog Show and the Puppy of the Year awards.  Duncan qualified  in May when he took Best Puppy in Group at the Tantramar Kennel Club shows un F M "Butch" MacDonald.  I can't wait!  I have never shown at these shows before, but have been to PEI to other shows.  What a great bunch of dog people.

There looks like a few show/obedience prospects available.  AND most importantly, they will make a wonderful addition to the family!

Duncan goes BB at the APRTF Booster

Duncan went Best of Breed at the Cobequid Dog Club show on 10/10/2009.  This was a booster for the Assoc. of Parson Russell Terrier Fanciers.  Thank you Judge Nancy Popovich!  Rain was reserve winners bitch the next day under Agnes Ganami-Kertes of Israel.

Spetember 2009

What a year so far!   We finished our boy Duncan's Canadian Championship the day before he turned a year old.  He gained his championship by obtaining a Best Puppy In Group under Butch MacDonald and he also went Best of Breed over Specials in his last show to complete his title!  Thanks to Carleen Farrington at Mitern Kennels for this lovely boy.  He is now known as Can. Ch. Mitern The Phantom Piper.

We also got 2 points on our bitch Rain this year,  She got Best of Winners under David Patterson at the Pictou County Kennel Club and she had a RWB under Charles Bett 09/13/2009.  I was amazed that she did so well, as a SCWT tried to get her after it was loose by ringside.  PLEASE do not let children hold dogs that they can not handle.  Accidents happen yes...but this was just irresponsible ownership!

Tomorrow we will be attending RDOG day activities.  Wag, Wiggle and Woof Dog Festival
